Indian Actress Pink Pitcher

Down Under - Welcome to the kangaroo-land

Hi,

after the first two busy weeks here in Sydney, I'm now a bit of time to find my blog on the latest state to take. My last few weeks have been marked by lots of new impressions, experiences and adventures. But first things first.

As I have already told the last time I was made my final trip through Indonesia to the north of the island of Sulawesi. Unlike the rest of Indonesia with 88% of Muslims live predominantly in North Sulawesi Christians, especially Protestants. After the flight to the provincial capital Manado (host of the World Ocean Conference 2009) I immediately made the trip to the island of Bunaken. There I have some quiet days with beautiful beaches, good food and relaxation spent lot '.

Next we went to the mainland in the Minahasa Highlands. This is one of the most fertile areas in Indonesia and known for its agriculture. There I was again cast on a still active volcano, along with bizarre ancient lakes, waterfalls and 800 years of grave stones. Not to mention the culinary delights of the region: dog! Which I was then served on the table where I gratefully refused him! :)

After 10 days on Sulawesi then I made a brief visit to Singapore. There, grad student, a friend from London, which I visited in this
opportunity. The sentiment that Singapore is "Asia for beginners" or Asia Light "I could immediately sign it. After half a year in Jakarta me this city was already almost clinically clean. You have to sometimes imagine that there chewing gums are banned nationwide from the government by law. Throughout Singapore is not a single gum, can ensure that the streets are not dirty. Even there, otherwise you can actually eat off the floor. Singapore is an absolutely remarkable City with many impressive skyscrapers but also cozy quarters. Due to the multi-ethnic population, small districts have been formed, where people gather in the same home and their culture, food, clothing, ... have brought. A walk through Little India, Chinatown or Arabic Street may already be a like a journey through different countries. Despite all the fascination, I was not unhappy to leave Singapore after 3 days. This city has too many rules and laws for me. A totalitarian regime that the personal freedom in many areas of life restricts ........ not least when chewing gum! For that I love very much to the casual freedom that I have experienced in Indonesia and Ecuador.

was called on it then 13.Feb: DOWN UNDER, I COME! !

And here it was then also in rapid succession. On Saturday morning, arrived at the hostel, looking for apartments at noon on the Internet, identified a site visit for the Sunday and immediately snapped. There are students who have after 2 weeks still nothing Nocht found ....
I have a small, but nice room in an apartment and live together with a 73 year old Australian. He's really cute and we get excellent. In addition, another German resident in the apartment that was doing her PhD in Sydney.
've Following the successful apartment search, I then in the last 2 weeks bought a bike at an auction (very amuessante experience) that Surferstraende of Sydney made uncertain and met many new friends at orientation events of the university. My university (University of Technology Sydney) has a permanent subscription to the price of the ugly high-rise building in Sydney. Looks really awful from the outside. :)

more about the university and my life in Sydney is the next time Today much to tell and I hope it was not too long?

Best regards from the other side of the earth
Cheers
