Welcome back or "G'Day" as they say here!
After the past weeks has been pretty busy with uni and admittedly too lazy, today once again news from Down Under.
The summary of the last weeks
I arrived safely in Sydney and I have settled in quickly. Apartment found, met many friends and the university takes me quite well in entitlement. Unfortunately I'm in the whole time came out only twice out of town. There are good reasons for that. Here you get to try (as opposed to Jakarta) easy to do too much to see / / / party! :)
Some pictures you want my life in Sydney a bit to illustrate.

Back to Uni:
Generally, we can already assert that the level of Australian schools is particularly high. Even if we have to make weekly work on the grading and the whole system is very regimented thus gives no real identifiable benefits for me. The Australian education industry is still a major export. The zweitegroesste exports from Australia. When I look at how many Asians and Indians to study here but the statistics do not surprise me continue ...:) I study the way, from the University Technology Sydney (UTS). The university determined in principle from a 30 storey tower and a few around the outside Building in the heart of Sydney. Perfect location, but very ugly university.
my free time to spend the most time with friends from all over the world: Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Switzerland, Austria, Pakistan, India, Japan and .......... Australia! :) They are indeed hard to find at the university, but have then but luckily found some of these rare species.
Oh yes. Perhaps one is interssieren Some of you even over a few facts and quirks about Australia:
- 21.8 million people
- Total area: 7.7 million m2 (Germany, grad mal 360 thousand, ie 20 times smaller)
- live in Australia it is 2, 7 persons per square kilometer, in Germany of 229
- there are 130 million sheep and 25 million cattle (sometimes / haeuffiger I treat myself to a nice, juicy beef Steack ........ mmmhhhhhhhh)
- the capital Canberra is ....... why? Because the people have from the two largest and most important cities in Australia (Sydney and Melbourne) bashed heads and have therefore agreed on a capital in the middle. Which was then built from the ground. They are the Australians ....
- Australians are interested in my experience (even if they themselves say what else) not really for policy. On the Australian front page of Bild-Zeitung is found to 80% sport. Sport is the praegenste factor in Australia and will often complete spare time (mainly in bars in front of the TV during competitive beer drinking)
- Australians are a nice people, the peasant dialect of the rural population is similar but the low-Bavarian rural Gegrummel:)
Do not ask me the logic about the composition of these points. :) As far as
from here and the adoption of your typical Australian.
Cheers mate. No worries and cya! Your
Peter
