After persistent persuasion of Magnus I write a guest review, which is the bet by Magnus and Benny was not bad. Where we were and what we have made rough so yes Magnus has already told in the last post.
I think it is so exciting when I konzemtiere me on my many individual impressions. Where do I start
then on the most?
fact that Magnus and I also place other than Tokyo and surrounding areas have visited are of course noticed the contrast to this city special. Tokyo is enormous, two Berlin felt great. Or bigger?
Second, almost only men especially male people in black suits on the go. Magnus said that the Japanese love most suits and uniforms. On this morning to get there working people particularly close - too close. Imagine before it is so narrow that it does you no longer need to hold somewhere, as you will from the other people around you kept quasi. When the time comes mostly 20 other people trying to enter the metro .. Depending on the Metro route it takes up to 15 minutes until his 5 cm distance from his fellow man has recovered.
I find interesting and enjoyable that any waiting situation, people do not look as usual from Germany and the other observing. To the mass of people, (Works with most mobile TV is also here) that they encounter every day, taking only some privacy back, you deal with either the phone, read a book, manga, or one takes a nap - in most cases it is then yet in a deeper sleep state. The latter is now happening to me pretty much every day, you Moeche not ever seem rude and stare so close to the eyes and ... Most Japanese, so I feel need to sleep in the subway - the Japanese work culture should be familiar to anyone I think.
What you find as a tourist or "first-time visitor" to Japan probably is incredibly friendly as most people here are. In Tokyo I had, for no apparent reason, often times feel that the friendliness is played - but what the hell, I find beautiful! A blessing over the dour Germans.
In general, I feel myself as a workaholic at last a time not but as alien as one of many;)
Even though Tokyo is fast and exciting, there are lots of beautiful and spacious parks and even an impressive city-beach , where the pilgrimage to Tokyo every Sunday masses.
All in all me but I think that something quieter Kyoto, with its many temples, creeks and cherry blossoms as the small village on the coast - Shirahama - like best.
Who wants to know more then just ask me in FFM.
